HealthID collects personal information directly from practitioners during the registration process and while providing our services. This information may include, but is not limited to: (a). Name, contact details, and occupation (b). AHPRA registration details and credentials (c). Affiliation memberships (d). Working with children check status (e). Professional indemnity insurance details.

How WeUse Your Information

HealthID uses the collected personal information to: (a).Provide and maintain our credential verification services (b). Facilitate public access to practitioner credentials, subject to the practitioner's control over the level of detail shared (c). Communicate with practitioners regarding their account and our services (d). Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

DataSecurity and Compliance

HealthID is committed to protecting the personal information we collect. We employ industry-standard security measures to safeguard data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. HealthID complies with SOC 2 Type II and GDPR (DPA) standards to ensure the highest level of data protection.

Disclosure to Third Parties

HealthID may disclose practitioner information to the following third parties: (a). Hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities where practitioners work (b). Registration bodies and educational institutions for credential verification purposes (c). Law enforcement or government agencies, if required by law (d). Service providers who assist us in operating and improving the HealthID platform, subject to strict confidentiality obligations.

Data Retention and Deletion

HealthID retains practitioner data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. If a practitioner closes their account, their data will be securely deleted within 48 hours, subject to any legal retention requirements.

International Data Transfers

HealthID stores and processes data primarily within Australia. In the event of any international data transfers, we ensure compliance with Australian privacy laws and implement appropriate safeguards to protect personal information.

Your Rights and Choices

Practitioners have the right to access, update, and correct their personal information through their HealthID account. You may also request the deletion of your data by contacting our Privacy Officer at privacy@healthid.com.au. We will respond to all requests in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

HealthID uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyse trends, administer the website, track users' movements, and gather demographic information for aggregate use. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.
